The FTSE100 fell by 11.5% during the first three months of 2009. The mid-cap FTSE250 was very slightly up over the period. Since then the FTSE100 had fallen further, but at the time of writing has recovered to abour the same level; meanwhile the FTSE250 has gained ground.
